联合国世界丝路论坛（UNWSF）与WCCO等组织联署呼吁 坚决反对将新冠病毒溯源问题政治化

Joint Initiatives

  At present, the COVID-19 pandemic continues to rage worldwide, infecting more than 200 million people while depriving about 4 million people of their lives. The pandemic is seriously challenging the global public health system and prevention and control capacity, seriously threatening human life and health, and seriously destroying the normal production and living order of mankind, to which the international community must attach great importance. The pandemic has, once again, demonstrated that mankind is a community of common destiny. Only through unity and collaboration and scientific resolution can the international community survive the virus and safeguard the life, health, and safety of all human beings in the shortest time possible.

  As responsible social organizations, we would like to propose the following four joint initiatives:

  1. Calling on the international community to jointly uphold the scientific nature, objectivity and seriousness in the virus origin-tracing investigation, support the China-WHO Joint Research Report, and oppose the politicization of the issue;

  2. Calling on the international community to unite and fight the epidemic with a scientific and positive attitude, comprehensively strengthen international collaboration, and jointly curb the spread of the epidemic;

  3. Calling on human beings to optimize their lifestyle, pay attention to hygiene, improve their awareness of self-protection, and become responsible for their own and others’ health;

  4. Calling on all social organizations to contribute to the fight against the epidemic in various forms and ways according to their respective actual situation.

Hereby, we call on all international and non-governmental organizations to unite and help one another, further their anti-epidemic collaboration, promote common development and prosperity, and make contributions to mankind’s final victory over the COVID-19 pandemic.
